3 x 3 List

Although for some, it may seem like a small list of books to read in 1 year, I'm asking for recommendations for 6 books to read this coming year. It's been so long since I have last read a good book that even 6 books seem like plenty at for me.

I'm calling it 3 x 3 list that includes 3 non-fiction books and 3 fiction works. This way we can all have a good discussion about our favorite books and current reading selections.

"The art of making money"

On the way to work today I heard on NPR about the book, "The art of making money" by Jason Kersten. It recounts the life and crimes of ace counterfeiter Art Williams, a man who printed and spent millions of phony bills. It's somewhat similar to the story behind "Catch me If you can" movie about counterfeiter Frank Abagnale who was played by Leo DiCaprio.

Introduction to the joe bloggs book club

I'm starting a blog to help me and others share their favorite books so that all of us can motivate each other to read Great books that we always wanted to read but felt never had the time. I just got done with a 9 year period of intense medical training and just finished my LAST exam a few weeks ago. I always felt the desire to do more pleasure reading rather than just read textbooks and journal articles (yeah, I almost read a lot of journals!)
